As we come to the end of this ‘Blue Monday’ week we hope that the only ‘blue’ you’ve been worrying about… is your ‘something blue’ for your wedding day!
Last week we featured Alexander House Hotel Utopia and Spa on the blog and gave you advice on how to style this elegant venue. If you loved the look of Alexander House, head over to their wedding fair today (27th January 2018) where Kelly and Olivia will be available to discuss any of your styling needs between 12 and 3pm!
This week, we’re putting our spotlight on one of their sister hotels, the quintessentially English Langshott Manor in Surrey with impressive Grade II listed architecture. We will be showcasing our wedding design work at their wedding fair on 3rd February between 12-3pm – so pop it in your diary and come and say hello!
This 16th century manor house hotel effortlessly combines historic charm such as original beams, windows and working fireplaces with modern luxuries to create a seamless but charming environment for your wedding day. The beautiful estate is the perfect venue for an exclusive use wedding or an intimate small affair.
The key details

If your ultimate dream is to marry your loved one legally outside amongst nature then Langshott Manor have the perfect solution – their bespoke outdoor wedding gazebo. Marry under the gazebo amongst their blossom blushed gardens and medieval water filled Moat for a picture-perfect backdrop for up to 80 guests.
As you approach the gazebo you can walk through the most beautiful vines creating the perfect setting for the start of your wedding and incredible photo opportunities for your first few moments married.
If you’re planning to legally marry prior to your wedding date and wish to hold a ceremony on the day why not exchange your vows in front of the medieval moat.
If you’re looking for wedding photographs that look like you have stepped out of a romantic Jane Austen novel then look no further than Langshott Manor. Their grounds include beautifully landscaped gardens, charming medieval Moat with resident ducks, the historic bell tower (which you can request to chime as your begin your life together) and quaint bridges for picture perfect photos.
How to Style the Venue
This beautiful manor house only needs a few finishing touches to really give it that WOW factor. This stunning venue is truly the perfect place to marry all year round. The open log fires are perfect during the winter months and the beautifully manicured garden is the perfect backdrop for your summer nuptials. Add golden candlesticks, fairy lights and fresh foliage mixed with warm glowing tea lights for those cosy winter evenings. During the summer, the venue looks beautiful with fresh floral table centres and green glassware and napkins; to really compliment the dove grey walls.
Langshott Manor is a unique venue close to London but far enough away to truly experience the countryside lifestyle. Its location to Gatwick Airport also makes it perfect for any overseas guests joining you for your special day; or for a quick getaway for your honeymoon!
We’d love to see you on 3rd February at Langshott Manor for their wedding showcase to discuss how we can help you decorate and style this beautiful venue to bring it’s best features to life.
