We love what we do so much and we’re always glad to hear that our couples have loved our finished work as much as we have! After a long season, it is always the most fulfilling feeling receiving personalised cards through the post from our lovely couples. We also love winning awards… and we’re excited to announce that last week we won a ‘Gold Bridebook Wedding Awards 2019 Badge
of Excellence’ – so thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all our newly married couples that voted for us!!
This week we’re featuring one of our favourite venues, both personally and on a work basis…! Alexander House Hotel and Utopia Spa in East Grinstead, West Sussex. We will be showcasing at their Wedding Fair on Sunday 27th January from 12-3pm and we would love to see you there!

The key details
Day guests: Up to 90 guests
Evening guests: Up to 200 guests
Alexander House boasts three stunning ceremony and reception suites to suit intimate affairs or large celebrations depending on the size of your wedding party.
If your ideal day would include an outdoor ceremony (dependent on the British Summer weather of course), then you can marry legally under their bespoke outdoor wedding gazebo with all your loved ones watching on.

The outdoor ceremony area is a gorgeous blank canvas that with our help we can transform to match your colour scheme.
Once you’ve sealed the deal with a kiss – make sure you venture onto their 120-acre estate to take advantage of some breath-taking photo opportunities.

How to Style the Venue
This venue oozes luxury so you will want to carry this through into your wedding plans. We are often asked by couples to add draping to soften the look in the wedding reception rooms and bar area.
Add a draped backdrop wall with twinkling fairy lights behind your top table for some magical photos during the wedding breakfast and those all-important speeches.
This venue comes alive when it is filled with opulent flower arrangements. Get in touch with Lisa, our in-house florist, from Not Your Average Flowers for a bespoke consultation to see what we can create for you.
Something a little bit different
The venue has its own helicopter landing pad – so if you fancy making an entrance (or exiting in style) how about a helicopter ride to or from the venue.
Not only is this a beautiful wedding venue, but it is also an incredible spa. It was recognised this week as one of the top 10 ‘best spa hotels in the south of England’ by The Telegraph with a rating of 9/10. The indoor pool is opulent and grand with its Tuscan columns and Gothic alcoves while its outside Zen garden features an outdoor hot tub and sauna.
Having these first-class facilities on-site is perfect for both pre and post wedding pampering. Why not come for a night away with your bridesmaids for a girly spa day and to suss out the venue; stay the night before your big day with your bridal party in their range of spacious rooms – perfect for getting ready in the morning; spend your wedding night in one of their luxury Suites; or return every year from your wedding date to celebrate your anniversary in style!
As one of the most prestigious five-star hotels outside of London, Alexander House promises memories that will last a lifetime…
